Dear America and the world,
Outside seems so far away
You seem so far away from me
My porch is empty
Except for me

I feel the distance
Like you are across some ocean
My neighbor feels it too, so the news tells me

But in the outside I reside
By myself
Like a dusty book on a shelf
I wanna pick you up and hold you like I miss you.
